1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using FamySync, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and Pro plan subscribers.
2. Description of service
FamySync is a family organisation platform that includes a shared calendar, shopping lists, task management, chore tracking, and family challenges. We provide these tools to help families coordinate their daily lives more effectively.
3. Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are also responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@famysync.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Free plan limitations
The free plan supports up to 4 family members. If your family exceeds this limit, you will need to upgrade to the Pro plan. We reserve the right to modify plan limits with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FamySync for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, to distribute spam, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data. Violation of these rules may result in account suspension.
6. User content
You retain ownership of all content you create in FamySync. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access to the service. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Modifications to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the country where FamySync Core is registered.
