1. What data we collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the FamySync service. This includes your email address, display name, and any content you create within the app (events, tasks, shopping items, notes). We do not collect data beyond what you explicitly provide.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to power the FamySync features you use — syncing your family calendar, shopping lists, tasks, and chore system. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data storage & security
All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3. OAuth tokens (e.g. Google Calendar) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage.
4. Family data isolation
Every piece of content in FamySync is scoped to your family. Row-level security policies on our database ensure that no member can access another family's data — even in the unlikely event of an application bug.
5. Third-party integrations
If you connect Google Calendar, we store an encrypted refresh token to sync events. You can disconnect this at any time from your profile settings. We do not read any calendar data beyond the scope you explicitly authorise.
6. Data deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your personal data and family content is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Contact us at hello@famysync.app to request account deletion.
7. Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies. That's it.
